Mountains and a Movie

The mountain terrain in Wyoming was probably the toughest part of the whole trip. The roads were winding and steep. At one point we weren't sure the care was going to make it up the mountain but once we were at the top, the views were amazing!
Winding into Utah was a little less exciting. Our trek through Utah wasn't long. I was surprised there weren't as many hills and mountains, and there wasn't a whole lot of green either. We stopped to get gas in small town with an adorable little Cafe. The town consisted of two small Cafes and a gas station, that's it! We took the food to-go and hit the road again.
Getting into Idaho seemed a little greener. Must have been the potatoes and onions. There were farms all along the highway.
When were about 30 miles outside of Boise, we were looking for some neighborhoods or any other sign of life...none to be found. We didn't see anything until we got into Boise city limits.

We are finally in Boise! After a lot of mountains and a tan line from my sunglasses we cruised in at about 5:45 pm, headed for the apartment to take a look and then to a hotel. We didn't get to look at the inside of the apartment, (the leasing office was closed) but from the outside it looks pretty private. There is a creepy guy on the first floor apartment, right next to the steps...Hopefully he just looks creepy, but is actually a really nice guy. The tree outside my deck needs to be trimmed a little, but at least it will be quiet.
Tomorrow we are going to get keys to the new place, and I'll be able to see the inside for the first time! Since the truck with all of my stuff doesn't get in until Monday, I'll have to do a little shopping. I'll need silverware, soup pot, clothes for work...this could be a fun shopping trip (like shopping isn't always fun)!

For tonight we are staying at the Double Tree with the delicious chocolate chip cookies! When we got here Mom and I went down to have a smoothie by the pool. The weather is beautiful out here, sittin' in the warm sun really wore use out. After a nice hot shower and comfy PJ's we are ready for a good movie!
